Princes Trust startup, KashFlow, is celebrating having scooped a national award from Sift Media that is judged entirely by customer feedback.

KashFlow fought off the likes of the longer established Sage and Netsuite to win the award which was presented to Duane Jackson, Managing Director of KashFlow.

The Sift Media Business Software Satisfaction Awards are now in their second year and were held at The Brewery in East London and hosted by the comedian and writer Barry Cryer OBE.

Unlike other awards which use a judging panel, the Sift Media awards are based solely on the views of end-users making it a unique accolade and a truly independent and effective indicator of product and support quality.

Speaking about the win Duane Jackson commented, “We strive hard to ensure that KashFlow offers the best level of service possible to our customers and to win the award for best web-based accounting package demonstrates that not only is KashFlow moving in the right direction but that we are also now competing, challenging and on this occasion beating businesses that have been established for longer.”

KashFlow launched its flagship product, an online tool specifically designed to help owner-managers in small businesses manage their accounts, in mid 2005. Since that time it has quickly won a significant share of the valuable accounting software market along with launching a new direct to accountant division in late 2006.

KashFlow recently won a second round of venture capital funding from Lord Young of Graffham, former Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and ex Chairman of Cable and Wireless.

The KashFlow accounting package is securely hosted online, requires no installation and can be trialled for free by visiting http://www.kashflow.co.uk .
