Managing Petty Cash

If you have a Petty Cash float then you can create a new Bank Account and call it 'Petty Cash'.

You can then record a transfer of funds from your main account to the Petty Cash account when ever you take money from your bankaccount and use it as your Petty Cash float

Then, whenever you make purchases from Petty Cash you can either enter it directly against the Bank Account in the bank area or you can create a 'Purchase' and indicate that the payment came from the Petty Cash account.

You'll then end up with a statement for your Petty Cash 'bank' account that will show you exactly what you have bought with Petty Cash and how much of your float should be remaining.
